Featured Artist 2016 - David Juaire
We are pleased to announce photographer David Juaire of Georgia, VT as the Art Gallery's Featured Artist. David Juaire was born and raised on a dairy farm in Franklin County, VT. He has always appreciated the beauty and solidarity of the remote pastoral scenes all around him. "When I viewed the photos in Vermont Life Magazine I just knew I wanted to share what was all around me. So I purchased a Minolta 35mm camera and started selling pictures to Vermont Life about thirty years ago." Mr. Juaire is a self-taught photographer. His favorite subject to shoot remains landscape scenes even though he has done many weddings, senior portraits and wildlife photos. Besides being published in Vermont Life Magazine, he is well known for over 90 photos that have appeared on the Co-op Insurance Company calendar.
