There are many ways to save at the Champlain Valley Fair! From Kid’s Day to Carload Special, there’s something for everyone. Below are all the daily specials we offer. Note: Specials & discount programs cannot be combined with other specials/discount programs.
Friday, August 28 – Opening Day & “Kid’s Day”
Kid’s Ages 5 to 12 – $5.00 Admission All Day! As a reminder, kid’s ages 4 and under are free everyday!
Monday, August 31 – “Military Appreciation Day”
Military members (past and present) receive free admission with a valid Military ID.
Tuesday, September 1 – “Senior Day”
Seniors (55 & over): $12.00 Admission with valid ID at Gate.
Wednesday, September 2 – “Carload Special Day!”
$99.00 gets everyone in your vehicle admission, parking, and a ride bracelet (legal load limit) with Simon’s coupon. One coupon per car. Coupons will be made available at your local Simon’s store in early August. Simon’s locations

Thursday, September 3 – “Hannaford Feed A Family Day” and “College Night”
Bring two non-perishable food items before 2:00 PM on Thursday and receive free admission that day. Bring two more non-perishable food items and save $10.00 off a ride bracelet. Food drive runs from Noon to 2:00 PM only.

Currently enrolled college students gain free admission all day with a valid College Student ID!

Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 12” x 12” are allowed.
All other bags must be 5″x9″x2″ or smaller (the size of a small purse or clutch).
Exceptions include diaper bags and bags containing essential medical equipment. All bags will be subject to search as referenced above.

Prohibited items will not be brought into the Champlain Valley Fair. There is no storage area for any items at the Champlain Valley Fair. Guests arriving by public transportation should take particular care not to bring any prohibited items, as no exceptions will be made.

There is no charge for handicap parking. Handicap parking is located at the Red Gate – parking attendants will guide you. You must have an official handicapped parking permit.

The following COVID-19 Guidelines are in place. Please note, these guidelines could change.
- The safety of our fairgoers, volunteers, and staff remains paramount to our decision making. All state, federal, and CDC guidelines will continue to be followed.
- If you are showing symptoms of COVID-19, regardless of vaccine status, we ask that you do not attend the Fair until you have a negative test.
- The Champlain Valley Fair will not institute any limits on attendance at a given time.
- Face coverings will not be required for fair guests but are strongly encouraged for those not fully vaccinated.
- Proof of vaccination will not be required for fairgoers, volunteers, staff, or vendors. However, we strongly encourage all those who are eligible to be fully vaccinated.
- Cleaning and sanitization measures will adhere to federal and state guidelines. Hand sanitizer will be provided at locations throughout the fairgrounds.
- Concerts are held rain or shine.
- CVE maintains contact with the weather service at all times for the safety of all patrons.
- A concert would not be cancelled or delayed for rain. A concert would only be cancelled if the weather was a safety concern (lightning) and would be delayed before being cancelled.
- Umbrellas are not allowed; feel free to bring other rain gear.
- While some seats at the very back of the Grandstand have partial coverage, most areas are uncovered.
Some performers allow personal cameras for snapshots. Most performers do not allow professional level equipment (usually defined as having a removeable lens). You may be asked to leave your camera in your car.
All concert attendees must have a ticket, no matter what age.
Alcohol – State law prohibits the bringing of alcoholic beverages into the venue or the Fair. Adult beverages may only be purchased from a licensed vendor on the grounds. Anyone caught bringing in alcoholic beverages may be subject to eviction from the show and/or the Fair and possible prosecution.
Chairs and Blankets – We do not allow chairs or blankets into the venue.
Tailgating – We do not allow tailgate parties to occur in our parking lot.
